Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinamomum Zylanicum) a plant indigenous to Sri Lanka is a moderately size bushy ever green tree. Cinnamon grown and produced in Sri Lanka has acquired long standing reputation in the international market due to its unique, quality, colour, flavour and aroma. The name Ceylon Cinnamon derived from the former name of Sri Lanka is a very established geographical indication for Cinnamon. Ceylon cinnamon is safe for daily use. It never go beyond the TDI level due to its ultra-low coumarin content (~0.004%). Cassia cinnamon consists of 1200 times more coumarin content over Ceylon cinnamon (~ 5%) and exceeds the TDI limit easily. In 2006, BfR has warned against regular usage of cassia cinnamon, due to its high coumarin content.

03. C5 Special _ 1kg Rs 5900
The “C5 Special” grade of Ceylon Cinnamon is the second popular grade of Ceylon Cinnamon in the Cinnamon bark family. It’s slightly thicker than the “Alba” grade and yet is in high demand in the international market.
This grade is highly sought considering its character, taste, aroma and excellent flavor.
